Our client is looking for a Talent Development Specialist who has had previous experience of creating and implementing programs for skill development, career advancement, and leadership growth. In this role you will need to be both strategic and operational in thinking, focusing on helping employees and the organization grow by designing development frameworks, conducting training, creating succession plans, managing learning platforms, and supporting career paths to meet both individual and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish a 3-year Talent Development Strategy
- Design and implement a Career Development framework
- Define Leadership and Line Management Framework
- Create Path to Promotion/Partnership
- Conduct Line Manager training
- Manage the appraisal review process
- Oversee Succession Planning
The individual needs to have created and implemented a Talent Development strategy ideally within asset management, but similar financial services organisations will be useful. Responsibilities include:
- Creating and rolling out career development frameworks, leadership training, and other development initiatives
- Identifying and nurturing talent
- Managing Learning and Development: Conducting needs analyses, creating learning resources, and overseeing the organization's learning management system (LMS)
- Supporting Career Progression: Establishing clear pathways for promotion and partnering with employees and managers to support career goals
- Developing frameworks for succession planning to ensure business continuity and leadership pipeline
- Working with HR partners, business leaders, and other departments to align talent strategy with organizational needs
- Reviewing workforce data and evaluating the success of talent programs to make improvements
