A Global Pharmaceutical business has a Graduate Trainee role, an initial 6 months contract, with potential for extension or permanent role. This role is also remote with 1 or 2 monthly meetings in offices.

We are looking for a Grad to develop into a Trainee Technical Writer to write clear and comprehensive Working Instructions intended for end users of a SAP4 Hana system. This role involves creating step-by-step guidance that enables users to understand and execute procedures accurately.

What you'll be taught to do:

  • Develop Step-by-Step Instructions: Create clear, detailed working instructions using SAP Enable Now that guide end users through tasks and processes in a logical sequence, ensuring ease of understanding and accuracy.
  • Engage with Subject Matter Experts: Collaborate with process owners and technical specialists to gather the necessary information and validate content, ensuring instructions reflect current practices and standards.
  • Review and Revise Documentation: Regularly update and improve working instructions based on feedback, process changes, or lessons learned, maintaining the relevance and accuracy of each document.
  • Ensure Regulatory and Quality Compliance: Align documentation with internal policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements, supporting audit readiness and operational integrity.
  • Standardize Document Formats: Adhere to approved templates and formatting guidelines to ensure working instructions are consistent, professional, and easy to follow across different departments or functions.

Ideally, you will have an interest and ability to understand/work with various online IT systems/applications including Microsoft Office suite. You should be able to strictly follow a template to allow development of content to be produced in a consistent and uniform manner. Ability/experience to follow a project plan and adhere to tight deadlines is essential. Any previous exposure to SAP/4HANA knowledge would be beneficial but it is not expected. The client will consider any IT, Science or numerate degree disciplines but it is essential that you can demonstrate an excellent eye for detail.
