Our client is looking for a Talent Development Specialist who has had previous experience of creating and implementing programs for skill development, career advancement, and leadership growth within asset management or similar financial services organisation.

What you’ll do
- In this role you will need to be both strategic and operational in thinking. Focusing on helping employees and the organization grow by designing development frameworks, conducting training, creating succession plans, managing learning platforms, and supporting career paths to meet both individual and business objectives.
- Establish a 3-year Talent Development Strategy.
- Design and implement:
- A Career Development framework
- Definition of Leadership and Line Management Framework
- Path to Promotion/Partnership
- Line Manager training
- Appraisal review process
- Succession Planning
- Designing and implementing programs:
- Creating and rolling out career development frameworks, leadership training, and other development initiatives.
- Identifying and nurturing talent:
- Using assessment tools to identify high-potential employees and designing programs to foster their growth and retention.
- Managing learning and development:
- Conducting needs analyses, creating learning resources, and overseeing the organization’s learning management system (LMS).
- Supporting career progression:
- Establishing clear pathways for promotion and partnering with employees and managers to support career goals.
- Succession planning:
- Developing frameworks for succession planning to ensure business continuity and leadership pipeline.
- Collaborating with stakeholders:
- Working with HR partners, business leaders, and other departments to align talent strategy with organizational needs.
- Evaluating program effectiveness:
- Reviewing workforce data and evaluating the success of talent programs to make improvements.
