Our client is seeking an Apprentice in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).

Job Overview

This role would suit someone with experience in an entry-level HR systems position or an individual currently working in HR who is looking to transition into an HR systems-focused role at an early-career or foundational level.

Responsibilities

  • Support the ongoing administration, maintenance, operation, and configuration of SAP SuccessFactors, as well as our payroll system (ResourceLink) where necessary.
  • Act as the first point of contact for system user and reporting queries.
  • Maintain and administer the HR system with configuration such as new job titles, cost centres, work schedules, permissions etc.
  • Coordinate the preparation, production, and distribution of weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
  • Support system actions based on the HR/yearly calendar (e.g., performance and pay review cycles, holiday period-end processing, renewal of the annual compliance training).
  • Partner with internal colleagues across the organisation, as well as third-party vendors, as needed for system maintenance and first-line support for system issues.
  • Support system changes through to implementation, ensuring testing is completed and changes are communicated effectively.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data quality and integrity by preparing data audits and reconciliations and support the delivery and implementation of improvements.
  • Produce and maintain system documentation, such as workbooks and training materials.
  • Provide end-user support by delivering system training to new joiners and offering ongoing training as needed to ensure adoption and ease of use.
  • During the annual compensation review process, work closely on tasks related to supporting this process, including but not limited to data input, reconciliation, and cleansing.
  • Provide support for cyclical and ad-hoc activities, including projects and HR initiatives.
  • Undertake additional or ad-hoc duties as required to meet business needs.
