Our client, a leading global financial markets trading company, is seeking an experienced HR Manager to establish and lead a dedicated in‑house HR function.

Location: London

Salary: £75,000 – £85,000 per annum (plus bonus and benefits)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with outsourced HR providers to renew employee benefits globally and be responsible for managing new benefits into production.
  • Evaluate the current employee 360 performance management framework, suggest future improvements to process and manage process annually.
  • Manage all Learning and Development initiatives across the group, including the use of the UK apprenticeship levy.
  • Investigate and propose appropriate learning activities, in line with individual personal development plans, as well as business and regulatory needs, ensuring that as a group we have an appropriate pipeline of training in place.
  • Build an annual employee engagement plan and manage all employee surveys from start to finish. Analyse results and feedback to management on trends, focus areas, actions etc.
  • Lead all initiatives born from employee engagement feedback.
  • Sit on the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Council and be the HR representative on all workstreams.
  • Be the point person on culture/diversity.
  • Provide HR related metrics and benchmarking and reports to the management team/Boards as may be required.
  • Lead the annual compensation review cycle. Feedback to Group COO and CFO on any market trends and perform benchmarking as and when required.
  • Be point person at each stage of the process.
  • Work with the compliance function to determine which group policies require annual employee attestation and facilitate this process annually.
  • Manage handbook(s) updates alongside our outsourced HR providers.
  • Advise management of applicable changes to employment regulation in the UK and overseas operations.
  • Manage people restructuring (major or minor) / assisting with organisational structure / corporate transactions.
  • Be the point person for all employee relation matters.
  • Support and facilitate a smooth new hire induction process, coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver an exceptional on‑boarding experience.
  • Provide HR advisory services to employees and managers in relation to policies and procedures.
