Our client is looking for a Global Head of KYC Onboarding Supervisor to manage and oversee a team and ensure all efforts are aligned and focused on delivering quality throughput of files resulting in complete and timely onboarding of clients. This role works for a Global Institutional Brokers, onboarding banks, hedge funds, trading firms, and other financial institutions.
Accountabilities:
- Processing client cases and acting as SME escalation within the onboarding team
- Approval of low and medium risk accounts
- Supervise the customer onboarding team, primarily focused on London Head Office
- Capacity management, including prioritisation
- Coaching and supporting your team, including performance management
- Complete file reviews (KYC, account opening documentation, admin) and sign off low and medium risk accounts
- Ensuring files are compliant with appropriate regulation and in line with firm’s policies
- Ensure that appropriate client documentation is issued to all new customers and in accordance with local regulatory and any exchange requirements
- Acting as point of escalation for the onboarding team; ensure that complete records of all customer documentation are maintained
- Timely escalation of issues/developments
- Facilitating quality assurance feedback sessions with the Financial Crime team
- Assist with the implementation of changes within the department (regulatory, operational) and always endeavour to streamline processes and procedures for a better client experience
Qualifications:
- Direct line management experience of 1+ year(s) (global) of onboarding teams
- Managed teams through transitions
- KYC experience of 5+ years
- Onboarding experience of 5+ years
- Work collaboratively in a high-pressure environment
