Audit Trainee – A levels or equivalent. To £22,000. September 2023 start

Due to continued growth this leading accountants and advisors are looking for an enthusiastic and numerate apprentice candidate to join their Audit team in September 2023

This would be ideally suited to a recent A level leaver (or equivalent). 120 UCAS tariff points (300 using old UCAS tariff), or equivalent from 3 A-levels and a minimum of Level 5 (B grade using the old system) in GSCE Maths and English Language, or equivalent are essential.

Once established within the role, there will be the opportunity to study towards the AAT qualification to further progress within the finance sector, followed by ACCA

Duties

  • To act as a trainee auditor in the Charity Team, working with a wide range of not-for-profit organisations. Carry out all audit work, including visiting client sites mainly in and around London and Greater London.
  • Keep Seniors, Managers and Partners informed of the progress of the team’s jobs.
  • Budget for your time and keep costs within budget wherever possible.
  • For smaller assignments, plan and complete the audit file as per the Audit Completion Checklist.
