This leading Lloyd's and company underwriters has an excellent market reputation and offers a dynamic but extremely friendly and inclusive working environment combined with a generous benefits package. They are now looking for an experienced Ceded Reinsurance Technician to join their City of London operation.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years experience in outwards reinsurance administration and practices. Experience with reinsurance automatic calculation tools would be beneficial.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Providing support for the reinsurance purchasing process including preparation of quote schedules for sign off and management of wordings.
- Capturing, calculating and recording of reinsurance amounts whether proportional or non-proportional.
- Issuing statements and recoveries.
- Preparing outwards reinsurance technical accounts including review and calculation of cash losses, profit commissions and portfolio transfers.
- Outwards Excess of Loss recoveries, monitoring for reinsurance recoveries and issued premium adjustments.
- Agreeing company reinsurance statements.
- Monitoring of aged debt.
