Record a leading role on the Project Leadership Team that oversees preparatory works for a major offshore wind project in the United Kingdom. The position reports to the Development Project Lead and focuses on ensuring the project is ready to move into construction at the Final Investment Decision (FID).

Responsibilities

  • Lead a large, multi‑discipline project team through preparatory activities, including Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) management, engineering, procurement, and overall project delivery.
  • Provide technical and commercial input for business case development and value‑optimisation activities required for FID.
  • Coordinate cross‑disciplinary activities across sub‑projects such as permits, commerce, finance, site and operations.
  • Ensure all construction and support contracts are managed effectively and deliver on the project plan.
  • Safely deliver complex offshore construction projects, ensuring compliance with quality, schedule and cost targets established at FID.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Degree level qualification in an engineering discipline or equivalent science/numerate field.
  • At least 10 years of experience delivering large offshore construction projects, preferably involving HV electrical systems and wind turbines.
  • Strong project leadership with proven ability to build and maintain project delivery capability (people, processes, systems).
  • Experience representing the company in engagements with diverse stakeholders and technology, commercial and regulatory risks.
  • Membership of a professional project‑management body and/or relevant accreditation is advantageous.
