Offshore Commissioning Client Representative required for a major Offshore Wind Farm Developer based in Scotland.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in on-site Commissioning Meetings to coordinate the commissioning scopes.
  • Attend Site Acceptance Tests on behalf of the Client to ensure equipment is tested in line with ITP, relevant standards, and Client Employer's Requirements.
  • Manage interface commissioning activities between SEL and Client equipment.
  • Liaise with the SEL quality team to inspect and sign off punch list items.
  • Review relevant Contractor Commissioning Programmes and documentation to ensure they meet Employer's Requirements and standards.
  • Create operational instructions/guides for each piece of equipment for the project's lifetime.
  • Assist Package Engineers in answering TQs, reviewing designs, raising issues, and providing guidance based on lessons learned and experience.
  • Collaborate with Contractor Commissioning Teams and SAP Team to develop and execute Commissioning Switching Programmes for energisation and live testing.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of commissioning experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of Power Systems, equipment, SCADA, and Protection Systems.
  • Previous experience with Siemens Energy, National Grid, or Scottish Power Transmission.
  • Experience in similar roles for Clients or Contractors.
  • Worked in High Voltage Substations up to 220kV with valid Authorisations (minimum Competent Person).
  • Electrical apprenticeship and higher education in electrical systems.
  • BESC, SHEA Power certifications.
  • Client/Contractor National Safety Group Passport.
  • CSCS certification.
  • Right to work in the UK.
