Offshore Commissioning Client Representative – OSS required for a major Offshore Wind Farm Developer based in Scotland.
Responsibilities
- Participate in on-site Commissioning Meetings to coordinate the commissioning scopes.
- Attend Site Acceptance Tests on behalf of the Client to ensure equipment is tested in line with ITP, relevant standards, and Client Employer's Requirements.
- Manage interface commissioning activities between SEL and Client equipment.
- Liaise with the SEL quality team to inspect and sign off punch list items.
- Review relevant Contractor Commissioning Programmes and documentation to ensure they meet Employer's Requirements and standards.
- Create operational instructions/guides for each piece of equipment for the project's lifetime.
- Assist Package Engineers in answering TQs, reviewing designs, raising issues, and providing guidance based on lessons learned and experience.
- Collaborate with Contractor Commissioning Teams and SAP Team to develop and execute Commissioning Switching Programmes for energisation and live testing.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of commissioning experience.
- Extensive knowledge of Power Systems, equipment, SCADA, and Protection Systems.
- Previous experience with Siemens Energy, National Grid, or Scottish Power Transmission.
- Experience in similar roles for Clients or Contractors.
- Worked in High Voltage Substations up to 220kV with valid Authorisations (minimum Competent Person).
- Electrical apprenticeship and higher education in electrical systems.
- BESC, SHEA Power certifications.
- Client/Contractor National Safety Group Passport.
- CSCS certification.
- Right to work in the UK.
