Exciting opportunity for a Mandarin-speaking senior HR professional to join a globally leading solar renewable energy manufacturing company. You will be expected to work in Vietnam (Hanoi). Accommodation will be provided. The role covers global business, including the USA. A US business Visa (B1) will be a huge plus.
Position Overview
The HR Director is responsible for leading and optimizing the Group's global human resources and administrative functions. This role will support business operations across multiple regions, including Singapore, Vietnam, Ethiopia, and the United States. By establishing a unified HR strategy, systems, and processes, the role aims to enhance organizational effectiveness, talent acquisition and retention, and cross-border compliance, providing strong support for the Group's global manufacturing and business expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- HR Strategy & System Development: Develop and implement the Group's HR strategy aligned with global business objectives. Establish and standardize HR management systems, including talent acquisition, performance management, compensation & benefits, learning & development, and talent pipeline development.
- Global HR Management & Coordination: Oversee HR and administrative functions across multiple international locations (e.g., Singapore, Vietnam, Ethiopia, USA). Build and manage cross-regional HR coordination mechanisms to ensure consistent implementation of policies and standards.
- Talent Acquisition & Organizational Development: Lead recruitment for key positions and mid-to-senior management roles. Drive organizational design and workforce planning aligned with long-term business growth.
- Compensation, Performance & Incentive Systems: Design and implement competitive compensation and performance management frameworks aligned with international standards. Develop effective incentive and retention strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure HR operations comply with local labor laws and regulations across all regions. Manage cross-border employment, expatriate management, and related compliance risks.
- Administration & Operational Support: Oversee the Group's administrative functions to ensure efficiency and service excellence. Support operational needs across manufacturing sites and overseas offices.
- Culture & Organizational Engagement: Promote a unified corporate culture across all international locations. Enhance employee engagement and organizational cohesion.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree or above. Preferred majors: Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Law, or related fields.
- Experience: Minimum 9+ years of HR management experience. Proven HR experience covering North America. Experience in cross-border HR and administration. Experience in manufacturing companies is highly preferred.
- Language: Professional English and Mandarin.
