Responsibilities
- Manage the integration of OEM HMI into Remote Operation Centre.
- Interface between the client's project delivery team and OEM SCADA provider.
- Manage/attend meetings and ensure project deadlines are met.
- Define points list and manage commissioning.
- Commission RTU/PLC to control and manage Electrical Balance of Plant at Substation.
- Work with OEM SCADA provider to interface with the client's secure network infrastructure, ensuring compliance with the client's Cyber security standards.
- Manage integration of CCTV systems on site.
- Manage commission and integration of site meters into 2nd Tier SCADA system.
- Troubleshoot communications issues on new and existing sites.
- Complete and maintain as-built drawings for new and existing sites.
- Contribute to the design of SCADA and telecoms solutions for all new onshore wind and distributed generation assets.
- Contribute to the maintenance policy for the SCADA system to achieve best-practice availability.
- Implement and manage the maintenance policy for key communication equipment, including broadband, network communication equipment, and ancillary equipment on all sites.
- Contribute to the design of operation control requirements (SCADA/Telecoms/Cyber systems) to enable future offshore wind remote operations management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of procurement or commercial experience, ideally in offshore wind, offshore energy, or large infrastructure projects.
