Opportunity for a Mandarin speaking professional to join a global leading renewable energy (Solar PV) manufacturing company as Accounting Manager.
Work Visa will be sponsored. Location: on side, willing to locate to South Carolina.
Essential Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting activities, including General Ledger, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and account reconciliations.
- Manage month-end close processes and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Review product costing, inventory valuation, and manufacturing cost variances.
- Monitor inventory transactions and support physical inventory counts.
- Prepare cost analysis, variance reports, and other financial reports for management.
- Ensure accounting records comply with company policies and applicable accounting standards.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Work closely with Operations, Purchasing, and Corporate Finance to improve accounting processes and cost visibility.
- Supervise and provide guidance to accounting staff as needed.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Bilingual in Mandarin
- Previous accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred (not a must)
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory accounting, and general accounting.
- Experience with ERP systems (Net Suite, SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Preferred
- CPA or CMA certification.
- Experience supporting a manufacturing startup.
- Bilingual in Mandarin is a plus.
