Logistics Engineer/ T&I Quantity Surveyor for a major Offshore Wind Project based in Germany.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Marine Logistics and Construction Manager during the construction of the Offshore Windfarm.
- Organization and management of project logistics (e.g. arranging transports or storage of components, shipments between locations, incl. all notifications) using project agency or other logistics provider as requested by the project.
- Support, organization and management of project customs process during construction (single point of contact within the project), providing package support to collect relevant customs information, close alignment and management of customs process with appointed customs agents.
- Coordination of PPE process for the project (ordering, provision, tracking, inspection & repair, collection for return, etc.).
- Client representative support on project level.
- Setting up of project documentation (reporting, RAMS, procedures, check lists, etc.).
- Tendering of project services.
- Site visits, business travels and attendance of meetings as requested by the project.
