Responsibilities
- Hold EMPLOYER technical accountability for the IAC T&I Project scope covering surveys, BAS, CPS, FOU/crossings rock works, trenching, load-out, PLGR, cable laying, pull‑in, hang‑off, termination, testing and commissioning.
- Lead, task and quality‑assure IAC T&I package Engineers; resolve cross‑engineer interfaces; cover for any engineer absence.
- Own the EMPLOYER‑side interface with Designer, Cable Manufacturer, Marine Warranty Surveyor, TSO, and BSH; chair recurring technical interface meetings and HAZID/HAZOP/HIRA attendance.
- Operate the Technical Query (TQ) channel and the Variation Order substantiation process; raise, route and close‑out TQs; provide technical substantiation packages to the Cable Installation Lead for VO decisions.
- Drive end‑to‑end MDR process - review/approval cycles; monthly MDR updates; Change Log; document quality across PDMS / M‑Files.
- Own the Programme technical interface - baseline review, monthly progress validation, critical‑path verification against milestones (mock‑ups, PLGR, load‑out, lay/burial, T&T, SAT, Taking‑Over); challenge schedule logic against the AWD operating envelope.
