Lead Contract Manager for a major offshore wind project in The Netherlands.
Responsibilities
- Support the Lead Contract Manager in all contract‑related activities across two major offshore wind projects.
- Negotiate, administer and manage project contracts, including BIMCO charter parties (Windtime, SupplyTime), subcontract agreements, and performance monitoring.
- Provide commercial and contractual advice to project management, engineering, and procurement teams.
- Assist with drafting, negotiating, and managing change orders, variations, claims, and contractual correspondence.
- Contribute to risk and opportunity assessments and maintain accurate contract documentation.
- Interface with internal stakeholders and external contractors/suppliers to ensure compliance and alignment with project requirements.
- Support cost control, budgeting, and quantity tracking processes where relevant.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Quantity Surveying, Law, Engineering (or comparable experience).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant and proven experience as a Contract Manager, ideally within offshore wind, marine contracting, or major infrastructure projects.
- Experience working with BIMCO contracts, particularly Windtime and SupplyTime.
