A well‑backed international Independent Power Producer (IPP) is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager based in Germany to lead the delivery of large‑scale renewable energy projects across Europe. This is an owner‑side role with significant autonomy, offering the opportunity to take a key position in the construction phase of major renewable assets within a fast‑growing, international platform at the forefront of the energy transition.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the construction phase of utility‑scale renewable energy projects, from Notice to Proceed through commissioning and handover.
- Act as the Owner/Developer representative, overseeing EPC contractors, consultants, and key stakeholders.
- Take responsibility for schedule, budget, quality, HSE, and risk management throughout the construction lifecycle.
- Coordinate multiple interfaces in parallel, including internal teams, contractors, suppliers, and local authorities.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks early, and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, technical specifications, and local regulations.
- Provide regular reporting on project status, milestones, and key issues to senior management.
- 7+ years' experience in construction project management (10+ years advantageous).
- Degree in Electrical, Civil, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Proven track record delivering complex, large‑scale construction projects.
- Experience managing EPC contractors and construction‑phase stakeholders.
- Ability to operate independently in a dynamic, less‑structured environment.
- Experience in renewable energy projects (solar, wind, battery storage, or similar).
- Exposure to large‑scale, multi‑disciplinary infrastructure or energy projects.
- Experience working on the developer / IPP / owner's side is a strong advantage.
