Opportunity for a mandarin speaking professional to join a global leading solar company as Senior Accountant / Financial Manager, based on experience.

Position Overview

In this role you will support the company's financial operations, ensuring accurate accounting, cost control, and compliance. This role involves managing daily accounting activities, preparing financial reports, and working closely with other departments to support smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Accounting and Management: Handle daily financial accounting tasks, including preparing, organizing, and archiving accounting vouchers to ensure the completeness and accuracy of financial records. Manage fixed asset ledgers and calculate depreciation in strict accordance with policies and regulations.
  • Cost Control and Budget Management: Assist in creating financial budgets and review expenses to ensure cost effective operations. Oversee the accounting for raw materials, work in progress, and finished goods, producing monthly inventory reports and reconciling with warehouse data.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and profit and loss statements. Generate periodic cost analysis reports and conduct loss and profit assessments to ensure accurate and actionable insights for decision making.
  • Tax Compliance and Management: Manage tax filings and related documentation to ensure compliance with federal and state laws. Accurately calculate tax liabilities and submit timely payments while offering tax planning recommendations.
  • Internal Control and Audit Support: Participate in inventory counts, review raw material procurement processes, and enhance inventory oversight. Support external audits and regulatory inspections to ensure financial transparency.
  • Other Responsibilities: Provide financial reports and analyses as needed. Review and verify the accuracy of internal and external financial data.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with U.S. federal, state tax laws, and accounting principles.
  • Experience: Prior experience in manufacturing accounting is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and teamwork capabilities. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
