Land Manager required for a major Offshore Wind Developer based in The United Kingdom.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing and executing the land strategy for the Projects.
  • Ensure delivery of the external consultants working on land agreements on the Projects.
  • Work closely with the stakeholder manager to execute the strategy on the land elements and commercial agreements.
  • Develop and implement QA processes for the execution of the land agreements.
  • Ensure strong cooperation within the Projects for all work packages in relation to delivering the Heads of Terms (HoTs) and Option agreements and Temporary Possession Powers needed for the Projects.
  • Responsible for coaching and driving knowledge transfer in the Projects.
  • Responsible for delivering land and real estate advice and managing input to due diligences and market activities relevant for the Projects.
  • Provide updates on key showstoppers regarding land to de-risk the Projects.
  • Deliver secured options to the Project on time and to budget according to the programme.
  • Execute the Projects' land strategy, considering company strategic aspects to optimise individual project land optioneering and de-risking the compulsory purchase elements, including project risks, execution risks and landowner management.
  • Define and manage land risk continually at Project level; communicate risk clearly and proactively to prevent issues.
  • Coordinate the development of positions on key land topics and align with other work packages across the Projects.
  • Perform peer review and QA of HoTs and option agreements including key project documents, gate documents and procurement to ensure a uniform approach within the Projects.
  • Review, challenge and adjust performance levels to ensure quality outcomes are delivered on time and budget.
  • Secure that Project lessons learned are captured and implemented.
  • Provide expert advice on land management topics within the Projects to maximise competitiveness.
  • Manage advice to all project packages on land agreements.
  • Manage Works Plans, crossing schedules, order limits and interaction with Landowners for the Projects.
