Overview

Onshore Substation Package for a major Offshore Wind Developer based in The United Kingdom.

Responsibilities

  • Health, safety, environment, and quality.
  • Design, supply, install, and commission.
  • Programme.
  • Commercial, claims and risks.
  • Project reporting and development of processes and procedures.
  • HSSE performance through design and implementation to eliminate or reduce risks during construction, operation and maintenance.
  • Review and implementation of FEED and detailed design contracts, support main asset procurement and detail design.
  • Define, develop and successfully manage the interfaces with the rest of project packages.
  • Undertake tender document preparation, bid reviews and evaluations.

Requirements

  • Master\'s in Engineering with a minimum of 10 years\' experience and knowledge in execution of onshore substation projects.
  • Good knowledge of current health, safety and environmental legislation in particular CDM 2015 Regulations.
  • Significant and in-depth experience in Project Management of onshore substation and/or HV works projects.
  • High level of competency in contract management, claims management, negotiation techniques and dispute resolution methodologies.
