Onshore Cables Package Manager required for a major Offshore Wind Developer based in The United Kingdom.
Responsibilities
- To develop the requirements for the package utilising other business and technical support functions as required to lead the package for the Employer through construction, complete any required reinstatement and ultimately hand over to operations.
- The Package Manager shall ensure Health, Safety and Environmental considerations are prioritised throughout all aspects of the package work including the KPI reporting to the management.
- The Onshore Cables Package Manager will safely lead all aspects of the package and provide support and strategy guidance to all members of the package team for the Norfolk onshore cable works.
Requirements
- A degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- High level safety qualifications such as NEBOSH would be an advantage.
- Able to lead the package in HSES.
- Extensive experience of working on onshore cable installation projects (experience of substation construction or other large scale linear projects is an advantage).
- A proven track record in civil engineering, and construction management.
- An excellent understanding of the range of available civil engineering techniques, including trenchless with a practical approach to implementation.
- Co-ordinate with other Packages and provide support to interface Managers. This is to include the support to the Consent and Land team and Third parties as per Project requirements.
- Knowledge of HV cable systems is preferred.
