Our client is a globally recognised technology and infrastructure organisation delivering innovative power and energy solutions to support the rapid growth of AI and digital infrastructure worldwide.

With a growing pipeline of data centre developments across Europe and internationally, the business is seeking an AIDC Engineering Manager to strengthen its project development and technical delivery capability.

About the Role

Reporting into the wider international engineering team, you will provide technical leadership across the development of critical power infrastructure solutions for hyper-scale and AI data centre projects.

This position offers significant exposure to major international developments and the opportunity to influence projects from concept and feasibility through to deployment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical solution development for complex data centre infrastructure projects.
  • Engage directly with customers, consultants and key stakeholders to understand project requirements.
  • Support technical bid preparation, proposal development and solution optimisation.
  • Provide guidance on system architecture and critical power infrastructure design.
  • Identify and manage technical risks throughout project development.
  • Coordinate with product, engineering and project delivery teams globally.
  • Review testing, validation and certification activities.
  • Support contractual and technical agreement negotiations.
  • Contribute to future product development and market expansion initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Electronics or related discipline.
  • Strong experience within data centre, critical facilities or power infrastructure sectors.
  • Knowledge of UPS, HVDC, battery systems, energy storage, power distribution or related technologies.
  • Previous experience leading technical projects or engineering teams.
  • Commercial awareness and customer-facing experience.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to operate within a fast-moving international environment.
