Lead Project Engineer for a major Offshore Wind Project based in The UK.

Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinate engineering inputs/outputs for project development, through optioneering and initial design phases, to delivery, including chairing of regular engineering meetings to drive design and supporting collaboration between engineering disciplines.
  • Chairing of regular engineering risk meetings to identify and manage engineering and quality risks and opportunities.
  • Drive design maturity and delivery of scope to required quality and programme, including input to programme.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant specifications & policies; where compliance is not possible, support resolution of the issue through Deviation from Specification process.
  • Management of design changes in line with change control process and preparation of relevant forms and documentation.
  • Coordinate information gathering for Works Information (WI) packages.
  • Manage the Technical Query (TQ) register for engineering during delivery.
  • Coordinate and see that all contractor deliverables are reviewed and signed off.
