Taylor Hopkinson are proudly retained to bring to market an opportunity to join our industry leading onshore wind clients in the role of Project Manager. Candidates must be able to work in Edinburgh 3 days per week, have experience in onshore wind construction projects preferably and are looking to join a company with a busy and ever growing pipeline of renewable-energy projects throughout the UK and Europe.
Role
- To lead the project management of multiple renewable energy onshore projects, involved from pre-final consent through FID and RTB to Commercial operation date.
- To ensure projects are completed in time and within budget and according to Final investment approval.
- To manage and prepare the project package for FID.
- Define and manage timeline and deadlines, implementing Gantt charts.
- Support the procurement team with contract strategy.
- Negotiate construction and quality contracts.
- Manage the financing strategy along with the offtake strategy.
Requirements
- Full clean UK drivers license.
- Experience in Renewable energy or infrastructure construction projects in a project management position with demonstrable success.
- Knowledge of key financial indicators of a project and their optimisation.
- Proficient with MS Suite.
- Able to travel within Europe.
- Masters or Bachelors degree in Renewable Energy, Engineering or related fields.
