Scope of role
- Discharge of planning conditions: Drive and oversee discharge of planning conditions with relevant Local Planning Authorities, coordinating stakeholders, tracking progress, and ensuring timely resolution. This should utilise and build upon the consent condition tracker that has been set up in ACC.
- Planning variations: Monitor and manage variations/amendments to existing permissions, maintaining clear visibility of status, risks, and key deadlines. This role will not be the decision maker but instead collate the information required to enable well informed and timely decisions to be made in a structured and consistent manner by Project Teams and where necessary escalated to ATLAS or PDSC.
- Additional planning applications: Track applications submitted by third parties acting on our behalf (particularly Principal Contractors) to ensure alignment, compliance, and appropriate governance oversight. This will include ensuring there is clear feedback loop to the strategic stakeholder engagement plan.
