OverviewAs part of our client\’s new BU team setup, we are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to grow and manage a nationwide network of installation partners.
This role will play a key part in expanding our client\’s installer footprint, strengthening partnerships, and supporting the delivery of high-quality renewable energy solutions to homeowners throughout the UK.
Role
Identify, onboard, and develop a network of residential renewable energy installers across the UK
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with installer partners
Manage the full business development lifecycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation
Act as the primary point of contact for installer partners, supporting performance and engagement
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regional opportunities
Collaborate closely with internal teams including operations, sales, and marketing
Provide regular reporting on partner performance, pipeline, and growth metrics
Requirements
Proven experience in a Business Development, Partnerships, or Account Management role
Experience within renewable energy, construction, utilities, or residential services is highly desirable
Strong understanding of installer or contractor networks
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working autonomously
Willingness to travel across the UK as required
Ability to attend the London office as required
