As part of our client's new BU team setup, we are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to grow and manage a nationwide network of installation partners. This role will play a key part in expanding our client's installer footprint, strengthening partnerships, and supporting the delivery of high-quality renewable energy solutions to homeowners throughout the UK.
Role
- Identify, onboard, and develop a network of residential renewable energy installers across the UK
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with installer partners
- Manage the full business development lifecycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation
- Act as the primary point of contact for installer partners, supporting performance and engagement
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regional opportunities
- Collaborate closely with internal teams including operations, sales, and marketing
- Provide regular reporting on partner performance, pipeline, and growth metrics
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Business Development, Partnerships, or Account Management role
- Experience within renewable energy, construction, utilities, or residential services is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of installer or contractor networks
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working autonomously
- Willingness to travel across the UK as required
- Ability to attend the London office as required
