Tender Manager

Tender Manager required for a leading subcontractor in the Offshore Wind Industry based in The Netherland.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Commercial Manager to align bidding vision with business strategies.
• Lead the preparation and submission of high-quality, competitive proposals for tenders.
• Develop strategies to optimize tender processes and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary technical, planning and financial inputs.
• Accurately calculate cost estimates for projects.;
• Work with the Purchasing Department to request and review pricing and specifications from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare/support for customer-oriented quotations.
• Continuous refine calculation and analysis models to increase accuracy and relevance.
• Assisting in variations of work.
• Ensuring seamless and precise handover of tender documentation to the project management team.

Education and experience

• A completed HBO or WO education in a technical field (Mechanical Engineering, etc.);
• At least 3 years of experience in a Tender Manager role, preferably in a production environment.
• Experienced in drawing up cost estimates.
• Experience with software packages such as Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
