Responsibilities:
- The management and implementation of all consents and environmental requirements of the project.
- The delivery and ownership of the environmental works programme, inclusive of, but not limited to, surveys, licence/consent applications, pre-construction mitigations, monitoring of mitigations, watching briefs, and exclusion periods.
- The environmental auditing/inspection at the intervals and procedures contained within the Contractor's site-specific CEMP.
- The reporting of all environmental incidents.
- The compliance with the project environmental requirements, legislation and consents.
- Implementation and adherence of the DCO and associated plans, reporting and notifications.
- Adherence with its environmental management plan which must accord with the CEMO and implementation of requirements.
- Ensure lines of reporting are understood by personnel in conjunction to their roles and responsibilities.
- Ensure that any issues arising concerning consents are notified to the Project Management Team and Site Managers at the earliest opportunity.
- Environmental incidents and investigations are completed in accordance with relevant regulations and requirements.
