Offshore Construction Manager (OIM) for a major Carbon Capture & Storage based in The Netherlands.
Responsibilities:
- You are responsible for safety on board the platform and providing a reliable workplace for parties that carry out maintenance.
- Ensure that the installation is operated responsibly and within its limits and that the right steps are taken in case of abnormal situations.
- Have final responsibility for safety, working environment and operations on board.
- Lead the offshore teams and manage cooperation, behaviour and discipline.
- Ensure a stable operation (planning, priorities, division of labour).
- Monitor platform integrity, process safety and continuity.
- Coordinate the preparation and execution of offshore campaigns (e.g. the scope, planning, resources, etc.).
- Take ultimate responsibility for HSE, compliance with laws and regulations and risk management.
- Take charge of emergency situations and ensure incident follow-up and improvement measures.
- Play an active role in the commissioning phase: ensure that tests, transfers, compliance with requirements from performance standards, etc. are carried out safely.
Requirements:
- You are a Senior Offshore Professional with extensive experience and have fulfilled a managerial role.
- You have demonstrable experience with emergency response, commissioning/SIMOPS, contractor management and PTW/LOTOTO.
- Strong HSE mentality and knowledge of laws and regulations; in possession of valid offshore certificates.
- An advantage is experience with COâ‚‚ (CCS), compression and injection systems.
