Contract Manager for a major Hydrogen Project based in The Netherlands.
Responsibilities:
- Contract management and administration experience is critical for this role, with an understanding of end-to-end contracts from placement to close out.
- Core skills in contract management, including experience in both lump sum and remeasure contracts for construction.
- Strengths in drafting contracts and POs, with a legal understanding of contract risk and key clauses for contract execution and successful delivery of projects.
- Integrates cost forecasting and planning for contracts and POs management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Good knowledge of SAP and requisition to pay processes.
- Excellent negotiation and contract resolution skills.
- Strong influencing, communication, and facilitative skills, including across cultures and geographies.
- Ability to achieve targets and goals with clarity on action planning.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) technical and non-technical information, internally and externally.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of macro-economic factors.
- Financial and business acumen to support forecast cost modelling and contract commercial applications.
- Excellent knowledge and proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote) and collaborative tools.
Requirements:
- 15 years+ contracts experience working in industrial gases or complex engineering/construction projects.
- MRICS and/or CIPS.
- Bachelor of Engineering (preferably Mechanical/Civil) or QS degree is advantageous.
- Experience in contracts and POs and contractual language.
- Excellent oral and written English proficiency is a must.
