Senior HVDC Engineer required for a major Offshore Wind Farm Developer based in France.
Responsibilities
Analyse and review the detailed design documents provided by the EPCI Contractor on the whole scope of the Converter Station.
Review C&P inspection test plans, test reports, HMI, etc.
Participate in technical meetings with the HVDC converter manufacturers and in internal project and technical meetings.
Define and/or perform techno-economic studies to advise on technical arbitration.
Perform internal technical or economic studies to assess technical solutions.
Support general tasks in the AEP team (e. g. requirement engineering, lessons learned, etc.).
Experience
Experience in the conceptual design of HVDC converter stations (≥ 5 years). Knowledge of HVDC systems. Ability to identify technical issues in a technically complex environment
