WTG T&I Package for a major offshore wind project in Germany
Responsibilities:
- Lead the client-side management of the WTG transport and installation scope, ensuring delivery in line with project schedule, budget, contractual requirements and HSE expectations.
- Manage the WTG installation vessel contract, including commercial, contractual, technical and operational performance of the installation contractor.
- Act as the key interface between the WTG installation contract and the Turbine Supply Agreement, ensuring clear alignment between vessel, turbine supplier and project requirements.
- Manage and coordinate the WTG T&I team, including installation engineers and the dedicated contract manager.
- Report to the overall T&I Package Manager and provide regular updates on progress, risks, budget, schedule, contractor performance and key decisions.
- Lead the interface with the marshalling and pre-assembly port, including readiness, logistics, load-out planning, quayside operations and port contractor coordination.
- Ensure all WTG T&I activities are planned and executed safely and in accordance with project HSE guidelines, requirements, permits, employer's requirements and applicable industry standards.
- Drive proactive risk, change and claims management across the WTG T&I scope, including timely escalation of commercial and technical issues.
- Ensure strong HSE and quality performance across all WTG T&I activities, including contractor compliance, incident follow-up, lessons learned and continuous improvement.
