Contract Manager - Foundations for a major Offshore Wind Developer based in Germany.
Responsibilities:
- Support one or more offshore wind work packages as contract manager (e.g. WTG, cables T&I and supply, foundations T&I and supply)
- Preparation, negotiating and implementation of various contracts such as FIDIC, BIMCO, IMCA, BGB based ones
- Provide input into contractual and commercial tender evaluations
- Drive commercial solutions and lead negotiations with international counterparties
- Prepare due date calendar and anti-claims prevention strategy
- Liaise between the project's legal and technical advisors and identify and solve interfaces
- Contribute to other packages and workstreams as well as lead on smaller offshore wind development contracts and procurement and implementation (e.g. environmental studies)
- Contributing to and leading management presentations
- Working closely with Project Management and external package managers
Requirements:
- Post-graduate university degree with above-average results
- Min. 5 years project or contract management experience in the renewable energy sector
- Experience in Offshore Wind development and/or construction and/or operations
- Experience in offshore wind contract negotiations (WTG, foundations, cables, T&I and/or supply)
- Familiarity with typical contract standards like BIMCO or LOGIC
- Very good understanding of technical and commercial aspects of offshore wind farm contracts
- Reliability, diligence and a structured and independent way of working
- Ability to work in a team, openness and a healthy dose of pragmatism
- High flexibility and resilience, personal initiative and hands-on mentality
