The Role
As a Slitter Operator, you will play a key part in the production process, ensuring materials are cut and prepared to exact customer specifications while maintaining quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate slitting machines to convert large rolls of material into finished rolls
Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet customer standards
Monitor and maintain machine performance, reporting any issues promptly
Ensure accurate labelling, packaging and dispatch of finished rolls
Follow all health and safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment
Work towards output targets with the opportunity to earn bonus payments based on performance
