Salary: £30,000 to £50,000 depending on experience plus quarterly bonuses

We are working with a creative and well established signage company in North London that is looking for a Signage Estimator to join their team. This is a full time role within a busy, design led workshop producing everything from traditional neon to shop fascias, timber signs, murals and more for a wide range of high profile clients.

This role would suit someone with a good understanding of sign making or a similar manufacturing background who enjoys a mix of technical work and client interaction.

What you will be doing

Producing accurate estimates for bespoke signage projects, large and small

Reviewing drawings, specs and related documentation to prepare quotes

Speaking with suppliers to negotiate prices and get up to date material costs

Working closely with the workshop team to make sure quotes are practical and aligned with production

Liaising with clients on the phone, in person and via email

Managing enquiries from start to finish and helping convert them into live jobs

What we are looking for

At least two years experience in signage, print or a similar production environment

Ability to read and interpret architect drawings and project specs

Good technical understanding of materials and manufacturing techniques

Organised, confident and comfortable dealing with both clients and suppliers

Computer literate with good working knowledge of Word and Excel

A genuine interest in design, creativity and how things are made

Office and workshop are based in North London. Candidates must be able to reliably commute to this area. Nearest tube is Wood Green on the Piccadilly line
