Field Service Engineer – Production Print\\nLocation: Midlands & South (Field-Based)\\n Salary: Negotiable Dependant on Experience\\n Benefits: Company car/car allowance, Enhanced pension contributions, 26 Days annual leave, Private healthcare, Life assurance, Company discounts and more.\\n\\nWe are partnering with a global manufacturer and leader in imaging and document solutions that is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their growing Service Department.\\n\\nThe Role\\n\\nIn this field-based role, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and maintenance of high-end print-on-demand (POD) equipment and software, ensuring top-level performance and customer satisfaction.\\n\\nYou’ll also help with end-user installs and training, provide technical support, and play a key role in troubleshooting and escalating issues when required.\\n\\nThis position involves extensive travel, primarily across the Midlands and South, and occasional trips to the North. Ideal candidates will be based near major motorway networks.\\n\\nWe are particularly interested in engineers that have worked with toner-based production print equipment such as Xerox Iridesse, Xerox Versant, Canon imagePRESS, Konica Minolta AccurioPress, Ricoh Pro Series, HP Indigo 7800/12000, Sharp Pro Series or similar.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\nInstall, service, and maintain a range of production print equipment and software.\\nTroubleshoot and resolve customer-reported technical issues, both remotely and on-site.\\nMonitor remote diagnostic tools to pre-empt issues and schedule proactive maintenance.\\nCoordinate installations with internal teams to ensure smooth deployment.\\nKeep service agents updated with the latest technical bulletins and firmware updates.\\nEscalate unresolved issues to technical specialists or management as required.\\nEnsure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and maintain confidentiality.About You\\n\\nExperience in field service engineering, particularly in digital printing/print-on-demand production equipment.\\nStrong electro-mechanical fault-finding skills.\\nHNC in mechanical/electrical engineering or equivalent experience.\\nExcellent customer service and problem-solving skills.\\nAbility to work independently and travel extensively across South and Midlands region.\\nA valid UK driving license is essential.What’s in It for You?\\n\\n10% Performance bonus.\\nCompany car or car allowance.\\n26 Days annual leave (1 day per year of service).\\nEnhanced pension contributions.\\nPrivate healthcare, life assurance, company discounts and more. \\n\\nThis is an urgent hire – get in touch today for immediate consideration
