We\’re pleased to be working with a well established business with a reputation for quality and continuous investment in both people and technology. Operating within the print and packaging supply chain, they run a high-speed, high-volume site supplying major FMCG brands.
As part of their skilled engineering team, you\’ll be responsible for ensuring production equipment runs reliably, safely, and efficiently. This is a role for someone who thrives under pressure, enjoys solving problems, and takes pride in keeping complex machinery running at its best.
What you\’ll be doing
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs
- Fault-finding and diagnostics on large-scale FMCG machinery
- Electrical maintenance and repair, with mechanical engineering support
- Working with contractors and suppliers to secure critical spares
- Supporting continuous improvement and efficiency projects
What we\’re looking for
- Strong electrical skills, ideally supported by relevant qualifications (18th Edition Wiring Regs, etc)
- Mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with large machinery
- Experience in fast-paced FMCG, print or packaging environments (preferred)
- Excellent problem-solving ability and calmness under pressure
- Willingness to support occasional out-of-hours requirements
Salary & Benefits
- Salary up to £50,000 based on experience, 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, free on-site parking, pension scheme, and more.
- Permanent day shifts: 11am–7pm, Monday to Friday
