Weβre representing a well-established packaging manufacturer based just outside Kendal, known for producing high-quality carton board packaging for over a century. With a strong heritage and a reputation for excellence, they are now looking to strengthen their print team. A superb opportunity is available for an experienced Lithographic Printer β 1st Minder to operate a Roland 700 press on a rotating three-shift pattern (Mornings / Afternoons / Nights β Monday to Friday, no weekends).
The Person:
- Experience as a 1st Minder on multi-colour lithographic presses (preferably Roland 700)
- Ability to lead press operations and ensure consistent high-quality output
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Good organisational skills with a flexible and proactive approach
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and housekeeping
Salary & Benefits:
- Weekly pay: Β£663.13 base + Β£84.07 weekly bonus
- Equivalent to Β£38,854.40 per annum
- Overtime paid at an enhanced rate
- Monday to Friday shifts only β no weekends (unless overtime and paid at an enhanced rate)
- 25 days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays
- Company pension and sick pay schemes (after qualifying period)
