We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established print business based in Leeds, looking to add an experienced Multi-Skilled Site Maintenance Engineer to bolster their team. This is a site-based technician role supporting the smooth operation and maintenance of their print production equipment and wider site general maintenance.

  • A starting salary of £35,000
  • 4-day working week (Mon–Thu, 10-hour shifts)

The role:

You’ll be responsible for the electrical and mechanical maintenance, fault finding, and repair of a range of print machinery on-site. A strong understanding of sheetfed and ideally heatset web presses is highly advantageous as you’ll play a key role in keeping production running efficiently.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in a similar electromechanical engineering role
  • Time served engineer with relevant qualifications i.e. 18th Edition Wiring Regs, NVQ in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, etc.
  • Strong fault-finding skills – both electrical and mechanical
  • Knowledge of sheetfed or heatset web printing presses is a huge advantage
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently
