Our client a large, ambitious professional services organisation has created an opportunity for a senior risk professional to establish and lead a newly created enterprise-wide risk function.
The new Head of Risk will report to the General Counsel and work closely with the Board and Executive Team, to shape and embed a modern risk management framework that supports strategic decision-making, strengthens resilience and enables sustainable growth.
This is a highly visible leadership role with responsibility for enterprise risk management, governance, regulatory compliance, business resilience, risk assurance and information security.
We are seeking an experienced risk leader with a proven track record of developing enterprise risk frameworks within a complex, highly regulated environment with knowledge and experience of working with UK regulators such as the FCA and SRA key to the success of this individual.
You will combine strong technical expertise with commercial judgement, bringing the credibility to influence at Board level while building collaborative relationships across the business.
This is a rare opportunity to build a function from the ground up and play a key role in shaping the future direction of a successful and growing organisation.
The role is based from the north west of England, but operates under a hybrid working model, with an expectation of approximately ten days per month in one of the firm's nationwide offices, which include Liverpool, London, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, Newcastle or Leeds, and commands a basic salary in the region of £150,000 per annum.
