Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for someone looking to start their journey in Web Marketing!
As a Web Marketing Coordinator in our Web Marketing (Researcher Services) Team you will be part of a dynamic team driving digital marketing initiatives and contributing to the success of Taylor & Francis Online.
You will be joining our team of experts supporting our journals publishing platform and implementing positive digital journeys for our customers.
This role will involve the creation and editing of web pages and digital assets while streamlining our online support processes. You\’ll collaborate with colleagues across the business to fulfil incoming requests for website maintenance and development.
What you will be doing:
- Deal effectively with internal and external website queries and other customer communications to ensure that stakeholder needs are met.
- Implement digital editing tasks to ensure that the company websites are kept up-to-date and provide support to colleagues in managing online updates and improvements.
- Create new web pages using bespoke content management software, delivering visually appealing and user friendly content which aligns with company and brand guidelines.
- Optimize and upload visual assets, including journal covers and promotional materials, to enhance digital presence.
- Set up access arrangements for third party customers on Taylor & Francis Online.
- Support promotion of online marketing content including advertisements, WordPress campaigns and society assets.
Qualifications
What we are looking for:
- Competency in HTML with an aptitude and willingness to learn more!
- Experience of handling website content
- Ability to prepare and optimize images for use online
- Ability to follow agreed processes carefully, suggesting improvements where appropriate, and to keep accurate records
- Strong communication skills: works collaboratively to build positive working relationships with colleagues.
- Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions.
- Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
- Knowledge and ability of IT systems, including core MS Office packages and content management systems (CMS), and creative software such as Photoshop
Additional Information
Location: The successful candidate will be able to utilise our balanced working model. We ask that candidates live within a commutable distance of our Milton Park, Abingdon office to ensure that as a balanced worker they can make it to our office location to collaborate as required. There is an expectation for a minimum of 3 days per week in-person time.
