The Corporate Relationship Manager will be a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual responsible for driving sales and building current and developing new licensing relationships globally, and supporting the Corporate Licensing team towards revenue growth and profitable and sustainable trading.
Key Accountabilities
- Achieve and exceed annual corporate licensing sales targets, supporting the overall revenue and profit objectives of the team.
- Report on sales and prospects pipeline, provide forecasting for managed accounts, report relevant information to stakeholders, and on the business environment.
- Negotiate new partnership agreements and current partner renewal agreements.
- Build and maintain relationships with partners.
- Serve as the primary communication touchpoint for assigned partners.
- Analyse the current Taylor & Francis portfolio and align with licensing opportunities to drive revenue.
- Review once per year with partners the list of currently included titles in full.
- Collect partners’ reports and request invoice generation, updating the team’s spreadsheets accordingly.
- Analyse partner-provided data and Taylor & Francis collected data for upsell opportunities.
- Research publishing prospects and marketing trends to drive revenue growth and identify new revenue streams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance licensing market coverage.
- Meet customer expectations by collaborating with internal stakeholders.
- Support and involve yourself in departmental projects.
Qualifications
- Experience of working in a commercial sales environment.
- Able to work confidently on a range of computer systems, including Excel.
- Knowledge of the scholarly or academic publishing industry, intellectual property and copyright in general.
- Ability to build strong customer relationships and a customer‑focused approach.
Skills and Behaviours Required
- Good time‑management, prioritisation, planning, and multi‑tasking skills.
- Strong ability to communicate appropriately, both upstream and downstream within the organisation.
- Positive and flexible attitude, willing to take on many different types of tasks.

- Location: We believe that great things happen when people connect face‑to‑face. That’s why we work in‑person with each other, or with customers and partners, three days a week or more.
- The successful candidate will be able to utilise our balanced working model.
- Candidates must live within a commutable distance of our office in Milton Park, Oxfordshire.
- There is an expectation for a minimum of 3 days per week in‑person time.
- Please note our Milton Park office will be relocating to Oxford city centre in late 2027 / early 2028.
