Taylor Forgings has been part of Sheffield’s engineering landscape for over 50 years. We’re proud of our heritage, craftsmanship, and a friendly, hands-on team that always gets the job done. Now we’re looking for a technically minded, energetic Salesperson to help keep our machines busy — contributing around 500 machining hours per week of new business. If you love turning enquiries into confirmed jobs — and seeing projects through from quote to delivery — this could be your next move.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Convert customer enquiries into confirmed machining work
- Prepare accurate, competitive quotes
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Collaborate with our production team to ensure great results
- Track your quotes, wins, and pipeline
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in engineering or machining sales (precision or heavy engineering ideal)
- Confident quoting from technical drawings
- Solid understanding of machining processes
- A professional LinkedIn presence – you know how to engage, promote, and represent the company well
- Self-motivated, organised, and a real team player
What You’ll Get
