Due to an increasing workload and exciting new projects, we are looking for reliable, hardworking, and experienced Fencing Labourers to join our professional team.
The Role
As an experienced Fencing Labourer, you will work alongside our lead installers to deliver a wide range of fencing projects to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installing various types of fencing including closeboard, panels, post rail, security fencing, and gates.
- Assisting with site preparation, including clearing vegetation, digging post holes (by hand and using machinery), and removing old fencing.
- Mixing concrete, setting posts, and ensuring precise alignment and levels.
- Safely operating a variety of hand and power tools (e.g., post knockers, augers, nail guns, saws).
- Loading and unloading materials and maintaining a clean, safe working environment on-site.
- Representing the company professionally when interacting with clients and members of the public.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in fencing installation or heavy landscaping.
Skills: Strong knowledge of different fencing systems, ground preparation, and level-setting.
Physical Fitness: This is a highly demanding physical role requiring outdoor work in all weather conditions.
License: A full UK Driving License is essential (towing/BE entitlement is a major advantage).
Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and possessing a strong work ethic.
Qualifications: A valid CSCS card is highly desirable (but not essential for the right candidate).
