We have a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Procurement Manager (Procurement Specialist Buyer) to join one of the world's leading property management firms in a newly created role focused on the procurement of Soft FM services, including:

About the Role
Based in a prestigious Manchester office, you will play a key role within a large and strategic procurement function, supporting procurement and supplier management activities across a substantial portfolio of commercial and residential properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing procurement activities across Soft FM categories
- Running tender and sourcing exercises
- Obtaining competitive pricing and negotiating supplier contracts
- Supporting supplier performance and relationship management
- Working closely with Procurement Managers, internal stakeholders and external suppliers
- Delivering value, efficiency and high service standards across the property portfolio
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 2 years' procurement, purchasing or supply chain experience
- Experience procuring Soft FM services such as cleaning, catering, security, waste management or similar service contracts
- Knowledge of facilities management procurement and service-based contracts
- Experience within the property sector or an FM provider would be highly advantageous
- Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills
