We have a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Procurement Manager (Procurement Specialist Buyer) to join one of the world's leading property management firms in a newly created role focused on the procurement of Soft FM services, including:

  • Cleaning Services
  • Catering Services

  • Other Facilities Management Service Contracts

About the Role

Based in a prestigious Manchester office, you will play a key role within a large and strategic procurement function, supporting procurement and supplier management activities across a substantial portfolio of commercial and residential properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing procurement activities across Soft FM categories
  • Running tender and sourcing exercises
  • Obtaining competitive pricing and negotiating supplier contracts
  • Supporting supplier performance and relationship management
  • Working closely with Procurement Managers, internal stakeholders and external suppliers
  • Delivering value, efficiency and high service standards across the property portfolio

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum of 2 years' procurement, purchasing or supply chain experience
  • Experience procuring Soft FM services such as cleaning, catering, security, waste management or similar service contracts
  • Knowledge of facilities management procurement and service-based contracts
  • Experience within the property sector or an FM provider would be highly advantageous
  • Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills
