Our client is strengthening its Procurement Centre of Excellence and are looking for an experienced Procurement Policy & Governance Lead to help shape and embed procurement policy, governance and best practice across the organisation.
This is a key role for someone with experience in procurement governance, policy and compliance, ideally within a regulated public sector or utilities environment.
The Role
- Develop and maintain procurement policies, procedures, guidance and governance frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with the Procurement Act 2023 (PA23) and wider utilities/public sector regulations.
- Provide expert advice on procurement policy, governance and assurance.
- Support the ongoing development of Ivalua, including AI-enabled procurement capabilities.
- Lead procurement training and promote consistent best practice.
About You
Strong procurement experience, particularly in policy, governance, compliance or assurance.
Good knowledge of PA23 and regulated procurement environments.
Experience working within the public sector, utilities or similarly regulated organisations.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
The ability to translate complex regulations into practical policies and processes.
Experience with e-procurement systems/digital transformation would be advantageous.
