We're looking for a Procurement Consultant to join a growing procurement consultancy, supporting clients across a broad range of procurement projects in both the public and regulated sectors. This is a predominantly remote role, with a preference for candidates based in the North West of England to support occasional client and team meetings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver end-to-end procurement projects across a variety of IT and non-IT categories.
  • Provide procurement advice and support to public sector and regulated industry clients.
  • Develop procurement strategies, tender documentation, and evaluation methodologies.
  • Manage competitive procurement processes in line with relevant procurement regulations and best practice.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring high-quality project delivery.
  • Support contract award, supplier engagement, and commercial negotiations where required.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in procurement within the UK public sector or another regulated procurement environment.
  • Broad category management experience across both IT and non-IT spend areas.
  • Strong understanding of UK public procurement legislation and procurement best practice.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and project delivery skills.
  • Experience managing multiple procurement projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with colleagues and clients.
