The Role As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating Press Brake machinery to produce high-quality metal components while ensuring production targets and quality standards are achieved. Key Responsibilities * Set up and operate Press Brake machinery to bend and form metal components * Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders * Select the correct tooling, dies, and machine settings for each job * Load, position, and align materials accurately to specification * Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to ensure consistent quality * Inspect finished parts using measuring equipment and quality standards * Carry out routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting * Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment * Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production targets and deadlines Candidate Requirements To be considered for this role, applicants should have: * Previous Press Brake operating experience (essential) * The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation * Strong measuring, numerical, and problem-solving skills * Experience using measuring and inspection equipment * Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work * A good understanding of health and safety procedures within a manufacturing environment * A proactive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team What's On Offer * £13.00 per hour * 38-hour working week * Monday to Thursday working pattern, giving you a three-day weekend every week * Temporary to permanent opportunity * Weekly pay whilst working through Taylor Blackwood Associates * Ongoing training and development * Stable, long-term opportunity with a well-established manufacturing business If you're an experienced Press Brake Operator looking for your next opportunity within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we'd love to hear from you.
